In 2019, the U.S. Superyacht Association (USSA) will move its annual Superyacht Summit from its March dates in Palm Beach to align with the Refit Show in Ft. Lauderdale in April. The Refit Show will take place April 10-11, 2019, at the Broward County Convention Center, while the U.S. Superyacht Summit precedes it on Tuesday, April 9 at the same location.

Attendance at the 2018 Refit International Exhibition & Conference increased by 28% over the 2017 event. The Refit Show took place January 10-11, 2018, at the Broward County Convention Center in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. An expanded exhibit hall and conference program, daily networking events, and live demonstrations attracted the sizable crowd of refit-industry professionals and owners.

Bluewater Crew Training and The Triton have partnered to develop a certification and seminar series for the 2018 Refit Show, “Introduction to Yacht Refitting for Yacht Managers, Captains and Crew.”

ABBRA in partnership with the Landing School will lead a six-seminar series at the 2018 Refit Show where attendees can earn industry certification.

International yacht refit professionals were recognized for their accomplishments through the first annual Refit Excellence Awards presented January 28, 2016, at Refit International Exhibition & Conference in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Winners were the yacht teams behind STARFLITE nominated by Jarrett Bay Boatworks, ENIGMA XK nominated by Atlantic Refit Center, AXIA nominated by Front Street Shipyard and QUITEña nominated by Saunders Yachtworks.
